Sonia Struthers received her B.A. in Philosophy from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY and completed her B.C.L./LLB at McGill University.  She has been practicing as a business lawyer at McCarthy Tétrault LLP for over 30 years.  Sonia and her family are members of Ascension of Our Lord parish in Westmount, where she and her daughter are members of the choir.   In addition to serving on the board of the Foundation, Sonia recently joined the board of the Prosperity Project, a newly-formed charity with a mission to stop COVID-19 from disproportionately affecting the progress of Canadian women, especially in relation to gender equality.
