Cathie Macaulay received her B.A. in Psychology from McGill University and completed her M.A. in Theological Studies at Concordia University. She is a trained spiritual director and is involved in the formation of spiritual directors at the Ignatian Spirituality Centre. She is currently the coordinator of Pastoral Home Care Services (SASMAD-English sector) for the Catholic Archdiocese of Montreal. This ministry provides support and training to volunteers who visit sick and elderly persons in their own home for spiritual accompaniment. She is married to Tony Rettino and mother to four adult children.
