The Federation of Catholic Charities purchased Camps Orelda, Marian, and the Colony (a set of 10 family cabins) from the Diocesan Camp Corporation of Montreal for the price of $50,315. The camps were founded in 1930 by three priests: Fathers O’Rourke, Elliott, and Dawson.
